Military forces arrest a Baloch citizen without an identity card in Zahedan

According to Hale Vash, on the evening of Tuesday, November 26, 1404, a Baloch citizen without an identity card was arrested by military forces in the city of Zahedan, and so far there is no information about his whereabouts or condition.

The identity of this Baloch citizen without an ID card, "Saeed Brahui", 27, son of Jahangir, a native and resident of Zahedan, has been confirmed by Halash.

According to one of Saeed's relatives, "Military forces from the relief unit arrested Saeed on Zahedan University Street last night and took him away. Since the arrest, no contact or information about Saeed's physical condition or whereabouts has been given to his family."

Arbitrary arrest of citizens without a judicial warrant and keeping families unaware of the fate of the detainees is a clear violation of Article 9 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights and Principles 32 and 37 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Such actions are considered a violation of the right to liberty and personal security, and the responsible institutions are required to immediately inform the family and legal authorities of the place of detention, the reasons for the arrest, and the physical condition of the detained person.
