According to Hale Vash, today, Friday, October 18, 1404, military forces opened fire on a fuel truck on a dirt road inside the Sarbaz River in the Rask County area, injuring the driver of the vehicle, whose identity was confirmed by Hale Vash.
The identity of the injured tanker is: "Basir Barshan", about 17 years old, son of Mohammad Sediq, a resident of Jangal village, Rask city.
According to sources, "Basir was on his way home with empty gallons when military forces opened fire on him, and Basir was shot in the back."
Current sources had previously said: "While the military forces were stationed on the asphalt road from Rask to Sarbaz, they opened fire on a fuel truck that was traveling on a dirt road inside the Sarbaz Riverbed. At least one of the bullets hit the driver of the vehicle, seriously injuring him."
Sources had previously added: "After the shooting, local people transferred the injured person to the provincial hospital in Rask city, and the military forces fled the scene."
It is worth mentioning that his brother, Mahboob Barshan, also known as Samir, had previously lost his life on November 17, 1402, when his vehicle, which was carrying fuel, overturned near the village of Rodan Dep, a district in the county.
The lack of job opportunities in Sistan and Baluchistan has forced fuel burning to become the only means of meager income and livelihood for Baloch citizens who, out of necessity and unemployment, turn to this false and dangerous job, some of whom are directly targeted by the military. They are caught or burned alive in road accidents and lose their lives.
