Transfer of at least one Baloch prisoner to quarantine in Isfahan's Dastgerd Prison for execution

According to Hale Vash, today, Monday, October 14, 2021, at least one Baloch prisoner who had previously been sentenced to death for drug-related crimes has been transferred to the quarantine of Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan to carry out his death sentence.

The identity of this Baloch prisoner, "Isa Brahui (Yagizehi)", 47 years old, son of Mastan, married with four children from Zahedan and resident of Baluchabad, Golestan Province, has been confirmed by Halvash.

According to current sources, "Issa was arrested in Isfahan in October 2018 on drug-related charges and sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court. Today, he was transferred to the quarantine of Dastgerd Prison to carry out the death sentence. His family went to Dastgerd Prison today for a visit (the last visit)."

According to the reports of the highest human rights organizations, Baloch citizens have the highest execution rate in Iran, while the population of this oppressed minority is about five to six percent of the country's population, and most of those executed are under drug-related charges and from the weaker sections of the society who are dependent. One or more large families have been in charge.
