Execution of death sentences on at least two prisoners, including a Baloch prisoner, in Adelabad Prison, Shiraz

According to Hale Vash/ At dawn today, Sunday, October 3, 1404, the death sentences of at least two prisoners, including a Baloch prisoner who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges and had been transferred to solitary confinement in Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz the previous day to carry out the death sentence, were carried out.

The identity of the Baloch prisoner, "Jahanbakhsh Rakhshani (Baloch)", 51 years old, married with a child, a resident of Chahki village in South Rudbar, and the identity of the other prisoner, "Mohammad Sultanpour", have been confirmed by Halewash.

According to current sources: "Jahanbakhsh and Mohammad were arrested in separate cases in Fars Province on drug-related charges a few years ago and sentenced to death by the Shiraz Revolutionary Court. They were hanged in Adelabad Prison at dawn today."

According to the reports of the highest human rights organizations, Baloch citizens have the highest execution rate in Iran, while the population of this oppressed minority is about five to six percent of the country's population, and most of those executed are under drug-related charges and from the weaker sections of the society who are dependent. One or more large families have been in charge.
