According to Hale Vash, today, Friday, February 25, 1403, a citizen of the Persian Gulf region of Saravan city sent a message expressing concern about the lack of security and the rampant thieves in the area.
This citizen says: "We live in the Persian Gulf region, near Iranmehr Hospital. We can't sleep well at night for fear of thieves and we have to keep watch until the morning. Last night around 2 am, several thieves entered our house, but we were lucky that we were awake and they failed and escaped. We called 110, but the police station officers said they were not allowed to leave the police station!"
The citizen added, "We don't feel safe and we don't know where to seek refuge."
It is worth mentioning that on the morning of this Friday, February 25, 1403, two Baloch citizens identified as "Mahmoud Balochi", about 20 years old, and "Hamza Balochi", about 25 years old, were shot and killed during a chase with armed robbers who had robbed the railway company in the village of Kashig in Nikshahr city.
Baloch activists believe that the increase in organized robberies in this province is an attempt by the IRGC to make the region look unsafe. According to them, these measures are aimed at justifying a wider military presence, increasing control over the lives and property of Baloch citizens through military encounters, and receiving large budgets.
