According to Hale Vash, today, Wednesday, February 23, 1403, military and law enforcement forces raided the homes of Baloch citizens without ID cards in the villages of Naserabad, Najafabad, and Iftikharabad in Khash County in the early hours of the morning, violently arresting a large number of men, women, and children. So far, six buses of those arrested have been transferred to unknown centers.
According to current sources: "Today at 1:00 AM, security and military forces stormed the villages of Nasirabad, Najafabad, and Iftikharabad, entering the homes of Baloch citizens without identity cards and, after insulting and beating them, detaining dozens of people, including women, men, and children, and transferring them to camps for foreign nationals. They even arrested people who had documents."
"The exact number of detainees is still unknown, but at least six buses carrying detainees have most likely been transferred to the foreign nationals camp."
It is worth noting that over the past two years, following widespread protests in Balochistan, many Baloch citizens without identity cards have been detained and deported by the military and security agencies as foreign nationals. This action has caused great concern among this vulnerable group.
According to available reports, some of these citizens have managed to return to the country, but many of them have encountered serious problems in neighboring countries. There have been reports of the deaths of some people and the difficult lives of others in inhumane conditions and their endless efforts to return to the country.
Baloch activists emphasize that the irresponsible treatment of Baloch citizens without identity cards, in addition to violating human rights, has endangered the lives of many of these individuals and their families and added to the social problems of the region.
