According to Hale Vash report, today, Saturday, December 24, 1403, at least two Baloch prisoners who were previously sentenced to death due to drug-related charges were transferred to the solitary cell of Zahedan Central Prison to execute the death sentence.

The identity of these two Baloch prisoners, "Ilya Tardest (Shahouzahi)", 22 years old, son of Jahangir, a native and resident of Zahedan, and "Yaqub Brahui Moghadam", son of Nazer, married and with children, native and resident of Sefid Abe village, Nimroz city, have been verified by Hale Vash.

According to current sources: "Ilya in 1399, and Yaqoub in 1402, were arrested in Zahedan on charges related to drugs, and both were sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of this city, and today they were transferred from the general ward of Zahedan Central Prison to Qorantiyeh. They were transferred to this prison to execute the death sentence."

According to the reports of the highest human rights organizations, Baloch citizens have the highest execution rate in Iran, while the population of this oppressed minority is about five to six percent of the country's population, and most of those executed are under drug-related charges and from the weaker sections of the society who are dependent.
