According to Hale Vash report/ Today, Sunday, December 11, 1403, the problems caused by the failure of the cell phone tower in the Rotek border area of Khash, which includes 13 villages, continue and the citizens of this area are complaining about the authorities' inattention to the communication situation.
One of the residents of the Rotek area, sending a picture of the current situation, says: "The first mobile mast in this area has been completely out of order for about 12 to 13 days and there is no antenna. We, the people of the region, have faced many problems. "In order to make a phone call, we have to go to the nearest active mast 30 kilometers away, and this route also passes through sand dunes and difficult roads."
He also mentioned the frequent follow-ups of people, especially the local elders, and added: "The authorities have not taken any measures to solve this problem and are not responding to our requests. Even a month ago, when a team came to the area to connect the internet to the mast, not only the internet was not established, but also the antenna of the mast was completely cut off. And the request of the people of the region is the quick repair of the mast, the accountability of the authorities, and the establishment of the Internet to meet their communication needs."
It should be mentioned that the disruption in daily communication and medical emergencies, and the difficulty of accessing the active mast by traveling long and difficult routes are among the serious problems of the people of the region.
It should be noted that communication problems in the villages and cities of Sistan and Baluchistan, including the constant disconnection of mobile phones and the lack of internet, have become a fundamental problem.
