According to Hale Vash report, on the evening of Thursday, October 26, 1403, a Baloch prisoner sentenced to imprisonment due to lack of medical attention died in Zabul prison.
The identity of this Baloch prisoner, Noor Ali Kohkan, 42 years old, son of Khoja, resident of Bezi village, Nimroz city, has been confirmed.
According to current sources: "Nour Ali was arrested two years ago on the charge of participating in a kidnapping in Zabul city and was sentenced to ten years of tazizi imprisonment. He was repeatedly assaulted in prison and the prison management and health officials did not take medical care of his condition. And last night, his condition worsened with a heart attack and shortness of breath, and he died due to the inattention of the medical personnel."
The sources added: "The prison authorities transferred Noor Ali to the morgue without informing the family about his death, and his family found out about this through calls from the prisoners."
It should be mentioned that the deaths of prisoners in Zabul and Zahedan prisons had occurred previously due to lack of medical care.
