According to Hale Vash report, today, August 5, 1402, following the torrential rains in the south of Sistan and Baluchistan and the flooding and overflowing of seasonal rivers in the Pirkur border region, in addition to heavy financial losses, at least five people drowned in the Nehang River. They lost their lives and five others have disappeared.
According to current sources, "the bodies of five oil tankers who died due to drowning were discovered by local people, and at least five other oil tankers are missing."
According to this report, torrential rains and floods in the rivers have caused some fuel trucks to get caught in the flood and suffer heavy life and financial losses.
No information is available on the identity of the five deceased fuel tankers until the moment of preparing the report.
Previously, on 2nd and 3rd of August, two tankers died in the Nahang river area due to being caught in the flood.
The negligence of the authorities and the lack of job opportunities in Sistan and Baluchistan has caused fuel burning to become the only way to make a small income and livelihood for the Baloch citizens, who, out of necessity and unemployment, turn to this false and dangerous job, which is sometimes done by the military organs. They are directly targeted by shootings or they burn alive in road accidents and lose their lives.
According to the report of the government-affiliated domestic media in 1401, at least 168 Baloch oil tankers have lost their lives only in Iranshahr-Sarbaz axis, of which 82 of the oil tankers who died earlier in the annual report of 1401 have been authenticated by Hale Vash.
