These people have started a hunger strike in protest of their conditions and the lack of food and facilities and the misbehavior of the officers. The efforts of some religious school professors to convince the students to break the strike have been unsuccessful. During the recent trip of the diplomatic delegation of the Afghan government to Iran, the person in charge of the migrant affairs of this government consulted with the Iranian officials, but there was no result from this meeting, and this caused many migrants to fear being arrested for smuggling and from the routes. risking and paying a heavy price to return to their country".

"Every year after the end of the academic year of religious schools, Afghan immigrant students return to Afghanistan through the Department of Nationals and Immigrant Affairs. This process takes between two and three days. But this year, most of the students who have referred to this institution have been detained by security forces in the Al-Ghadir camp affiliated to this institution.
